Michelle Gambs is a parent coach and psychotherapist with a degree from The University of Notre Dame. After 20 years of coaching parents, a simple philosophy emerged which she turned into the book, Stay Away from Option D. It gives parents permission to be faulty parents while still bringing peace to your home. No perfection required.
She hosted the podcast ParentED, shares tips on YouTube (bloopers included), offers an online four-week course, Redirecting Children’s Behavior, and loves coaching parents.
Charlie and Grace continue to give her opportunities to grow on this journey of life and parenting. It remains the role in her life that has been the most rewarding and the most challenging. During the most desperate stages of parenting, she posted on her bathroom mirror the quote, “I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it.”
The Humans Who Taught Me
CAN PARENTING REALLY BE THIS SIMPLE?
We’re all faulty parents. Imperfect. No one is great all the time. We fail. And, it is all still okay.
When your resources and reserves are tapped, how can you be a good parent? You can’t. Bad parenting happens when you run out of options.
Until now. The fact is, you DO have choices. And, tomorrow WILL be different.
Are you ready to learn about your options?
